Beaches Agios Nikolaos

is located about 16 km north of Agios Nikolaos, 5 km from Elounda. The beach is pebbly and the water crystal clear! The beach is sheltered from the wind and well organized (umbrellas, sea sports etc). Also offers natural shade and there are many trees. The area offers some of the best hotels in Crete, as well as restaurants, cafes and bar. The plate is considered the most beautiful beach in Elounda and gathers a lot of people every summer. It is worth to mention the beautiful views of the island of Spinalonga which you can see from the plate with small boats departing to and from the island every hour.

Pumpkin Beach is located in Elounda, about 16 km from Agios Nikolaos. To reach the Pumpkin must enter the village of Elounda and head to the famous street in the salt marshes. Passing this path and after a steep dirt road, you end up in the church of St. Luke. Somewhere leave your car and proceed on foot. Further down you will see the beautiful beach of Pumpkin! The beach of Agia Fotia located 47 km southeast of Agios Nikolaos and 12 km east of Ierapetra. This is a bay well protected from winds with many pine trees and olive trees on the beach for shade and relaxation. The water is clean and blue.
